variety of other events are currently scheduled at the Christian W. Klay Winery for the summer of
2002.
Ex-Paws-ition
Sunday, June
23
Bring
your favorite furry friend to a fundraiser for Fayette Friends of Animals,
a local no-kill animal shelter. This event will feature a talent show and
various pet-related vendors. Proceeds will benefit rescued animals at the
shelter. All dogs must be leashed and small pets should be in carriers for
their own safety.
Murder Mystery
Dinner Theater
our
evening begins with a wine tasting in the wine cellar, followed by a
buffet dinner and interactive murder mystery with a winery theme. The
production and dinner are presented in the upper level a restored 1880's
barn. The winery retail sales room will remain open until 9 p.m., guests
may purchase their favorite wine to accompany their dinner. If you arrive
early, you are welcome to relax on the lower deck and enjoy the majestic
scenery of the 215 acre farm that is the home of Christian W. Klay Winery.

the Woods
A
unique dining experience which begins with an old fashioned hayride past
the vineyards and into the woods. Relax, step back in time as you enter
the secluded wooded glen where you will have a wine tasting and special
feast. Your favorite wines will be available for purchase to accompany
your meal.

hay wagon to greet all the children at his workshop in the 1880's barn.
Kids of all ages enjoy a visit to the petting zoo with Sally the donkey,
live holiday music, hors d'oeuvres and wine tasting.
